Yesterday I was faced with devastating news. My most favorite (mechanical) drawing pencil of all time broke. Strangely enough, since it was my favorite I'm writing to the company for a repair or replacement. I have another pencil that is broken from the same company, so I might as well send both.
Here is what i am sending them:
"Dear Quality Assurance Department of Pentel,
It says on your warranty that I can return my product to get repaired or replaced for free.
Both of the pencils I am sending (Twist-Erase XP QE419 9F Pentel 0.9mm and Twist-Erase 0.7 Pentel QE517 Japan 0D) no longer advance lead.
They are in need of repair (Please at least try to repair my Twist-Erase Pentel 0.7 QE517 Japan 0D, as this is my favorite pencil. You may replace it if repair fails.) or replacement.
Thank you!
Stephanie "
Now all I need to do is get a envelope and stop by the post office so I can send them off.
I think this is weirdest thing I've ever done in my whole life....
