I want..

...A guy that will take me on picnics, dance in the rain with me, go stargazing, talk over milkshakes at a fast food restaurant, and take me dancing.
I don't want some rich guy that will take me to a fancy restaurant and buy me a expensive diamond necklace.
I want a sweet guy that does crazy cheep stuff in a cute way. Most of the things I listed don't cost anything.
I want to spend time with him, not go clean out his wallet.
But most of all..I want him to love me.

My Saturday

Finally! A day to relax! I got to sleep in today and I watched a movie while still in bed. :P
Starstruck is the best movie I've seen in quite sometime...it was clean and they did a wonderful job on the movie, the actors and everything. Or maybe I just thought it was wonderful because it was a chick flick...?
       ____________________________________________________________
I have yet another song that's been stuck on my head...(maybe it's stuck in my head because it's on repeat on my mp3..?) "Telling the world" by Taio Cruz. He doesn't always have the best music.. (from my perspective..) but this is really sweet, it's on the soundtrack for the movie "Rio"

"Telling The World"

Every part in my heart I'm giving out
Every song on my lips I'm singing out
Any fear in my soul I'm letting go
And anyone who ask I'll let them know

She's the one, she's the one
I say it loud
She's the one, she's the one
I say it proud

Ring a bell, Ring a bell
For the whole crowd
Ring a bell, Ring a bell

I'm telling the world
That I've found a girl
The one I can live for
The one who deserves

Every part in my heart I'm giving out
Every song on my lips I'm singing out
Any fear in my soul I'm letting go
And anyone who ask I'll let them know

She's the one, she's the one
I say it loud
She's the one, she's the one
I say it proud

Ring a bell, Ring a bell
For the whole crowd
Ring a bell, Ring a bell

I'm telling the world
That I've found a girl
The one I can live for
The one who deserves

To give all my heart
A reason to fly
The one I can live for
A reason for life

Oe oh oe oh
Yeah yeah
Oe oh oe oh
Yeah yeah
Oe oh oe oh
Yeah yeah

I hope all of you are having a wonderful weekend!
God bless!!

I made up my mind

I don't think I'm going to work at Tom and Rays every other Saturday.
I'll only go when Aunt Da nita calls and asks if I can come in.
It's too much responsibility for a thirteen year old. Maybe I'll work for real there when I'm Fifteen.
I have really been enjoying these dances every other Saturday and if I take the job there's a risk that those every other Saturdays are on the same night as the dances.
I just discovered them and I feel so alive when I'm there. I really don't want to take the chance of loosing that..not yet.

You and me

I can't get that wonderful song out of my head. Ever since Saturday night I've been listening to it nonstop.

"What day is it and in what month
This clock never seemed so alive
I can't keep up and I can't back down
I've been losing so much time

Cause it's you and me and all other people with nothing to do
Nothing to lose
And it's you and me and all other people
And I don't know why, I can't keep my eyes off of you

All of the things that I want to say just aren't coming out right
I'm tripping on words
You've got my head spinning
I don't know where to go from here

Cause it's you and me and all other people with nothing to do
Nothing to prove
And it's you and me and all other people
And I don't know why, I can't keep my eyes off of you

There's something about you now
I can't quite figure out
Everything she does is beautiful
Everything she does is right

Cause it's you and me and all other people with nothing to do
Nothing to lose
And it's you and me and all other people
And I don't know why, I can't keep my eyes off of you
and me and all other people with nothing to do
Nothing to prove
And it's you and me and all other people
And I don't know why, I can't keep my eyes off of you

What day is it?
And in what month?
This clock never seemed so alive"
-Lifehouse

This song really relates to a friendship of mine that has really  gone downhill.
I can't get him off my mind when I play this song.

Last day of the fast!!

Planning on a huge vanilla milkshake tomorrow(=

Last night was a fairytale

I went ballroom dancing last night! We learned the Virginia reel, which is quite fun.
Walter taught me the tango, that is now my favorite dance, thanks to him (:
Shawn taught me the samba....that was interesting...okay more like scary...
"My name is Shawn. What's yours?"
"Stephanie"
"That's a pretty name. Some day when i get married, i want to name one of my children Stephanie."
"Uh huh.*Smiles*"

Here's my favorite:
"What grade are you in?"
"Oh! Thanks.."
"What?? What did you think i said?"
"Um..Nevermind! I'm in 8th grade"(I thought he said "You're very pretty." Oh come on...the music was loud and we were practically yelling at each other anyways...)
"*Jaw drops* You're only in 8th grade!?!?!?"
"Umm..yeah."
"You seem so much...older..."
"Umm thank you."
"In a good way...you just seem more  mature than 8th grade."

Haha yay for awkward dance conversations!

What a awesome day

My week was pretty stressful and full of homework and school. Today was a wonderful break from that.
Once I got to CBA I got a text from a good friend of mine telling me he could make it to a dance I've been inviting him to for a few weeks now, that made me quite happy. (=
My first study hall hour is kind of boring, Rachel was late and she doesn't have a phone so I couldn't ask if she was coming or if she was sick and David said he had to leave in 10minutes. I was like well this is going to be a fun 2pm study hall...thankfully Rachel wasn't sick, so she was there but the study hall still dragged on without David there. As time dragged on it was time for Anatomy (a.k.a the class that made my day.) We knew the teacher would make us switch lab partners. Before we switched  a guy behind me found a mechanical pencil and was like "Woah! This is an awesome pencil!!" and the guy next to him was like "dudeee can i see thatt??" I love homeschoolers. haha.
When the teacher came up to me I said a silent prayer as i picked a name from the bowl, I got Stevie, the teacher's son. Which is great. I had been hoping I would get someone I kind of already knew. Of course it was awkward at first...But when isn't it always when a boy is your partner!?!? We had to do a lab in which we were peeling skin off of a chicken wing. You'd think the guy would be all over cutting the chicken open but I think Stevie was more grossed out than I was!! Awesome day. So greatful for such awesome friends.

Birthday ideas

My 14th birthday is a little less than a month away, so I decided I should probably start planning for it.(=
Birthdays at my home isn't a party with friends or a sleepover; it's a family day. Which I think is the best way to spend it. Our normal birthday day includes a meal out, an activity and a present or two.
And whoever's birthday it is gets to decide where they want to eat and what they want to do.
So for my birthday I'm thinking about going to the movies, eating out at Carter Que(they have the best ribs everr.) and  asking for a Bamboo Create tablet. The gift itself is expensive so we won't be doing too much. =P I've been trying to plan sort of cheap in a not boring way.

Should I?

My Aunt just called asking if I was serious about maybe working every other Saturday. Apparently another person quit, which puts them in jeopardy. I can't work this Saturday, I'm going to P.A. with my family the whole day and I can't work in the evening next Saturday..there's a ballroom dance I've really been looking forward to. Should I do it? I mean it's good money, no doubt about that. But do I really want to give up some of my Saturdays? Of course it's only temporary, until my aunt can find two new workers... I think I'll give it a shot?

My pencil b-b-broke?!?!

Yesterday I was faced with devastating news. My most favorite (mechanical) drawing pencil of all time broke. Strangely enough, since it was my favorite I'm writing to the company for a repair or replacement. I have another pencil that is broken from the same company, so I might as well  send both.
Here is what i am sending them:

"Dear Quality Assurance Department of Pentel,
It says on your warranty that I can return my product to get repaired or replaced for free.
Both of the pencils I am sending (Twist-Erase XP QE419 9F Pentel 0.9mm and Twist-Erase 0.7 Pentel QE517 Japan 0D) no longer advance lead.
They are in need of repair (Please at least try to repair my Twist-Erase Pentel 0.7 QE517 Japan 0D, as this is my favorite pencil. You may replace it if repair fails.) or replacement.
Thank you!
Stephanie "

Now all I need to do is get a envelope and stop  by the post office so I can send them off.
I think this is weirdest thing I've ever done in my whole life....

Long night at Tom and Rays

Just after I finished lunch I received a call from my Aunt asking if I was busy and could work until 7pm at Tom and Rays today, I didn't have any big plans so i went.
This is the fifth time I've been there to work, twice a end of the week clean and three times I've been the dishwasher(that's what i did tonight).
Every time I forget how tiring it is to stand on my feet, cleaning out dirty dishes, scraping leftovers and trash in the garbage and constantly getting sprayed in the face.
But I've heard word I'm good and fast. I clean everything well, I don't slack on the job and I'm fast. They wonder why I don't just get a part time job there, truth is I'm only 13. But I'll be turning 14 on February 15th and they say it's okay just as long as my Aunt is there.
They're asking if I could work every other Saturday...I'm not sure if I could handle that...I'm still thinking about it.(??)

Some of my goals for 2012

1. Stay on a healthy diet and exercise regularly.
2. Horse back riding.
3. Get a bunny.
4. Redo my bedroom.
5. Work in the Summer at Talbot Run and/or Tom and Rays.
6. Spend less time on computer.

Movie with Greg

A friend of the family has come over to watch the four hour long Gettysburg movie.
Remember me saying i really don't like wars? *sigh* that's why I have my computer and a good book followed by some water.
Mmmmmm. Water. Sounds so....appetizing right? I'm afraid that is my only choice of beverage for the next 21 days. Why? I joined a fasting at the church I've been visiting. Drinking water may not sound too hard for some people, but i rarely ever drink water. This challenge has made me realize how....out of shape? no....unhealthy? I am. It shouldn't be so hard to only drink water for 21 days. This is such a great challenge.
